Southend Small Business Saturday - Charlotte, NC

  • Historic South End Charlotte Camden Road Charlotte, NC United States (map)

OUR MOBILE SPICE TRAILER WILL BE AT STOP #2 ON CAMDEN ROAD (see details below)

From the official Facebook event page:

Kick off the holiday shopping season at South End's Small Business Saturday, presented by Novel Atherton, on November 30, 2019, 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Explore local shops, restaurants and breweries and find holiday gifts at this one-day-only pop-up market. The festival features 150 local shops, 70 places to eat and drink, holiday music, a festive atmosphere, and free trolley rides throughout the district. Maps and free shopping totes will be up for grabs throughout the neighborhood. At sundown, join the crowd for the South End Tree Lighting at Atherton Mill.

Park anywhere, rideshare, scootershare or ride in on the light rail: we’ve got you covered so you can leave your car and spend the day carefree. Park once and then hop on one of the free trolleys to get around the district from shop to shop.

Stop #1: New Bern Station. New this year, this festival area will feature great food, beverages, and places to hang out. Here you'll find Suffolk Punch, Triple C Brewing, and Eight + Sand Kitchen in addition to plentiful attendee parking and a few beer-complimenting pop-up shops.

Stop #2: Camden Road. The bustling main street of South End is boosted by more than 150 pop-up shops to become the best shopping street in Charlotte. This year, activities and shops will fill Camden from end to end, from Atherton Mill to Park Avenue. Shoppers can also enjoy delicious dining, hot coffee and drinks, and outstanding shopping from year-round gift destinations like Girl Tribe, 704 Shop, Candlebar and Adair Boutique.

Stop #3: Lincoln Street. South End’s Gold District will pull out all the stops to transform Lincoln Street and the adjacent Riva Fanoli alley into a holiday wonderland. Holiday shopping, music, photo-ops, and (if we are lucky) a special visit from a jolly, red-suited man!

Stop #4: Dudeapalooza at Alchemy on Distribution Street. Jon Wilson, of WCCB’s Wilson’s World, hosts his annual Dudeapalooza pop-up at C3 Lab's new venue Alchemy. Stop by to find gifts for the dudes in your life, supporting local businesses that make “everything but potpourri”, and the artists and artisans of the C3 Lab creative community.

Park once and then hop on one of the free trolleys to get around the district from spot to spot.
