Chocolate-Chocolate Chip Cookies

Spicin' and Dicin'
Flavoring your world - one spice blend at a time.

Total Time: 30 mins
Servings: 24

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 1/4 cup self-rising flour

  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips

  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 stick butter, softened

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 Tbsp Chocolate Sugar

  • 3/4 tsp baking soda

  • pinch of salt

PREPARATION

1) Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or non-stick foil.

2) In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugars until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, whisking until just combined.

3) In a separate mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and pinch of salt.

4) Gradually pour dry ingredients into wet. Stir until well combined. Stir in chocolate chips.

5) Using a melon-ball scoop or spoon, drop 12 even balls of dough onto each baking sheet. Place baking sheets in freezer for 10 mins. (this will ensure a perfect cookie texture when baking)

6) Bake for 12-15 mins until edges are nicely browned. Let cool on pan or cooling rack for 5 mins.
