Fried Mozz Sticks

INGREDIENTS
8oz fresh mozzarella cheese
2 cups vegetable oil
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 egg
1 Tbsp A Night in Milan
splash of water
pinch of salt
marinara sauce for dipping
PREPARATION
1) Cut mozzarella cheese into 1/2" thick sticks (approx 10-12). Lightly coat each stick with A Night in Milan then dip in flour. Combine remaining Milan seasoning with panko breadcrumbs in a small bowl. Set aside.
2) In a separate small bowl, whisk egg with a splash of water. Dip floured cheese sticks in egg wash then coat with panko crumbs. Place sticks on a plate and freeze for at least 30 mins.
4) Heat oil on med-hi in large skillet to 375 degrees.
5) Place sticks 4-5 at a time in oil and fry for 1 min on each side until browned. Remove immediately and place on paper towel. Season with salt. Serve with marinara.
