Easy One Pot Chili Mac
Spicin' and Dicin'
Flavoring your world - one spice blend at a time.
You could absolutely incorporate homemade mac n cheese instead of boxed with this recipe. I broke my finger yesterday and needed to come up with something quick for dinner tonight so I used what I had that would take the least amount of steps. I literally made this entire meal with ONE hand (my non-dominant one at that) in under 30 minutes!
Total Time: 25 mins
Servings: 4-6
INGREDIENTS
1 family size (14.5oz) box Kraft Macaroni and Cheese
1 lb lean ground beef
3 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 Tbsp Chili Powder Blend
1 Tbsp garlic, minced
1 Tbsp ketchup
2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp olive oil
PREPARATION
1) Heat olive oil to med-hi in large pot on stove.
2) Add beef, garlic, salt, ketchup and chili powder. Using wooden spoon or spatula, break beef up and cook until slightly browned (about 5-6 minutes).
3) Pour in uncooked pasta. Add broth. Stir. Heat to boil. Reduce to medium simmer. Cook 9-10 minutes, stirring frequently, until pasta is cooked.
4) Reduce heat to low. Add heavy cream, cheddar, and Kraft powdered cheese packet. Stir until combined and cheese is melted. Turn heat off. Serve.
Delicious, moist, loaf cake with a sugary vanilla topping. You won’t even notice it’s packed full of veggies!
